Prinz Eduard Island (PEI)
At just over 5500 square kilometers, Prince Edward Island is the smallest of the Canadian provinces in the St. Lawrence River.
The island's capital is the sleepy Charlottetown. Another beautiful town is Summerside.
The most beautiful sandy beaches on the island are Cavendish Beach and Brackley Beach. The water temperatures are relatively high in summer with about 20 °C for this latitude.
Prince Edward Island is the island of lighthouses. An interesting rock formation in the cliffs forms the Elephant Rock.
